Garret Lyon is a proud Darumbal and Wulli-Wulli performer from Rockhampton, Queensland. With a career extending from acting to singing and dance, Garret is an enigmatic performer with a deep commitment to storytelling, cultural advocacy and artistic excellence. A graduate of the Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts (ACPA) with an Advanced Diploma in Music, Garret has captivated audiences in Australia and internationally. He gained national recognition portraying Frank Doyle in the acclaimed musical The Sunshine Club, touring extensively across Australia. His credits also include roles in theatre productions of Once on This Island with Altitude Theatre. In 2023, Garret showcased his vocal talents on The Voice Australia, where he performed a heartfelt duet with idol, Jessica Mauboy. Beyond the stage, he has contributed to cultural programs like Move It Mob Style on NITV and ABC Kids, and represented Indigenous Australia at the World Expo in Dubai.
