Jungaji Brady is a celebrated Western Gugu Yalanji and Birri Gubba artist whose acting career spans theatre, storytelling, and music. He delivered a powerful performance in the award-winning production Barbara and the Camp Dogs at Belvoir Street Theatre, earning praise for his emotional depth and stage presence. Beyond acting, Jungaji is also an accomplished playwright whose work blends cultural heritage with personal narrative. His contributions have earned him widespread recognition, including selection for QPAC’s Ignition Playwright Program, the Queensland Arts Showcase Program, the APRA AMCOS NATSIMO Lifecycle Recording Grant, and a Creative Australia Fellowship (Arts & Disability). In 2024, he developed Betting On Blak, a theatre production based on his life, as part of PlayLab Theatre’s Ignition program.
