Tiffani Wood, a celebrated Australian singer and songwriter, began her musical journey at a young age in Newcastle, NSW. After excelling in local talent contests, performing arts schools and performing in the 1994 musical "Murder in the Music Hall", she jumped straight into the role of lead singer for local cover band "Quiver" only age 18. Subsequently, she ventured to Sydney to study at the Australian Institute of Music, where she graduated Vocal Major with Merit, all while fronting the top Sydney cover band "The Anthill Mob."
In 1999, Tiffani auditioned for the reality TV show "Popstars," where destiny led her to become part of Bardot. The group achieved tremendous success with chart-topping singles and albums, with their debut single "Poison" and self-titled debut album reaching number one on the Australian ARIA charts. After Bardot disbanded in 2002, Tiffani embarked on a solo career, initially with Warner Music, releasing her debut solo single, "What R U Waiting 4." She later embraced independence, establishing her label, Mudhoney Records, and released singles such as "Devil in Your Soul", "Spin the Bottle" and a cover from the Divinyls "I Touch Myself". Tiffani's captivating live performances and commitment to creative freedom have been notable aspects of her journey.
Taking a break from music, she focused on raising her six children, all while running a successful singing school and designing a creative arts program called "Popstar Kidz" for the next generation of performers. Now, Tiffani is poised to return to her true passion, music. Her diverse career experiences have solidified her status as a respected figure in the Australian music scene.
