Donné is an acclaimed recording artist, whose music blurs the lines between jazz, blues, and pop. With three albums, two EPs, and songwriting credits across numerous Australian releases, she’s built a reputation for her emotive voice and unforgettable performances. Often compared to Amy Winehouse, Nina Simone, and Adele, Donné delivers songs that move seamlessly from raw vulnerability to electrifying energy. On stage, she’s a commanding presence. More than just a talented singer - the Australian vocalist paints in broad, impressionistic colours that recall the golden era of jazz. Whether performing in a duo or backed by a big band, Donné leaves an indelible mark, blending timeless blues and R&B roots with modern influences. Donné’s latest project, Anatomy of Heart, dives into themes of love, loss, and transformation. Created with long-time collaborator, Aaron Flower, the album features lush arrangements and poignant storytelling. The first single, Great Circle, is out now.
Donné brings a dynamic presence to both stage and screen. The show explores themes of grief and resilience through deeply personal storytelling, showcasing Donné’s ability to blend humor and emotion in a unique and compelling way. Donné is part of The Lab Ensemble, led by Nadia Townsend. The 2024 show, Dinner With Strangers, cemented her versatility as a performer.
